SGT Adante Taylor

I enlisted in the Army National Guard in January 2016 during my senior year of high school. What inspired me to join was the opportunity to serve my country while remaining close to home — along with the many benefits that came with military service.

I began my career as a 68W Combat Medic and deployed to Afghanistan in 2019 with the 1st Battalion, 178th Infantry Regiment in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. After returning home, I joined Foxtrot Company’s Recruiting Team, where I discovered my passion for helping others join the Guard. Later, I earned an additional MOS as an 88M Motor Transport Operator.

Recruiting Career
I became a full-time recruiter in 2021 after serving a year and a half as a recruiter’s aide. I enjoy recruiting because it allows me the flexibility to support both my soldiers and my family.

The most rewarding part of my job is changing lives and breaking generational curses — helping others create opportunities through service, education, and personal growth.

Civilian Career & Interests
Outside of the Guard, I’ve worked as an ambulance driver and medic for Elite Ambulance and as a freelance graphic designer.

Hobbies: Video games, sports, drumming, comedy, and DJing
Community Involvement: Chairman of the Deacon Board & Choir at Christ Life Redeeming Missionary Baptist Church

Helping future Soldiers isn’t just about recruiting — it’s about welcoming new family members into the Guard. 💪

Every time I get to guide someone through this journey, I’m reminded that the National Guard is more than a uniform — it’s a family built on service, loyalty, and having each other’s backs.

Thank you for trusting me to help you take this step. Welcome to the Guard family — we’re in this together. 🇺🇸
